Tavamithram – A humble ‘Nimitta Maatram’ of KRISHNA – 189 countries

In Shloka 11:33 of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Krishna calls Arjuna a निमित्तमात्रं ‘Nimitta Maatram’, meaning Arjuna was merely an instrument in the ‘hands’ of Krishna.

तस्मात्त्वमुत्तिष्ठ यशो लभस्व

jitvaa shatroon bhungkshva raajyam samriddham
mayaivaite nihataaha poorvameva
nimitta-maatram bhava savya-saachin (SBG 11:33)
Therefore, get up and attain glory. Conquer your enemies and enjoy a prosperous kingdom. All these warriors have already been destroyed by Me. You are merely an instrument, O Arjuna the ambidextrous one.

I just now took a look at the stats of this website and I must say that I am humbled to know that this site has had visitors from 189 countries of the world! Of course, most of them must be people of Indian origin. This is a website that I started in the year 2014 as my personal loud-thinking platform, which I thought would be also useful to others who were facing challenges in life and were becoming victims of fraudulent astrologers and fake spiritual teachers. I feel blessed to be a simple ‘Nimitta Maatram’ in the ‘hands’ of Krishna.

Click on the images below to see the list of countries, the order of which is based on the volume of traffic from those respective countries. The top six are India, the USA, the UK, Canada, Germany, and the UAE.

As per Wikipedia there are 206 listed states in the world out of which this site has had visitors from 189! This is a moment of joy for me, although I am not sure how successful I have been in carrying out my mission of leading people towards the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, so far.

18:68
य इदं परमं गुह्यं मद्भक्तेष्वभिधास्यति |

(SBG 18: 68)
The one who teaches this Supreme Philosophy to My devotees has the greatest form of love for Me and offers to Me the highest form of service. Such a person shall undoubtedly come to Me.

18:69
न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्चिन्मे प्रियकृत्तमः |
भविता न च मे तस्मादन्यः प्रियतरो भुवि || १८ ६९ ||
na cha tasmaan-manu-shyeshu

bhavitaa na cha me tasmaad-

(SBG 18:69)
There is no one who does dearer service to Me than such a person, nor will there be another who is dearer to Me than them.

Never look down upon yourself or belittle yourself, because your SELF is the same Supreme Brahman personified as KRISHNA. Take inspiration from the following quote by Swami Vivekananda.

All challenges, however serious they may be, are nothing but great learning experiences. Moreover, whatever happens in your life is, somehow or the other, a direct result of the choices you made. So, never get into the habit of blaming others, deities,’god’, planets or black magic. This is because by doing so, you are bound to develop a victim attitude which will only lead you to become an even more hapless victim of fraudsters masquerading as religious people, astrolgers, and other charlatans. You will soon find yourself falling into an endless pit of misery, pain and sufferings. Accept responsibility and think calmly. Krishna will guide you through your intellect.

Please click on the thumbnail below to watch a one-minute video to know which crucial step Arjuna, who represents the whole of humankind, took to handle his dilemma, face the massive challenge that stood before him, and emerge victorious.

Remember that no one, no deity, no ‘god’, or no planet is doing anything unto you. In case you have been harbouring fears of ‘god punishing you’ for your ‘past sins’ simply get such thoughts out of your mind right now. Doing so will make you feel so powerful that you would not even believe it. Try it.

Do you remember the important Bhagavad Gita analogies that I speak about often?

Going through the following description will help you better understand and internalise the essence of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

The Chariot:Shareeram – The body
Arjuna:Jiva – The master of the chariot
Krishna: Sarathy – the Charioteer – Buddhi – The intellect
The Reins:The mind that controls the senses, represented by the horses
The Horses:The Indriyas – The senses that tend to pull in different directions unless controlled by the charioteer using the reins
The Path or the field in which the chariot travels:The physical and material world in which the body lives.

The moment you convince yourself that there is no one out there who is controlling or affecting your life, your intellect will be free to function to its fullest, and you will begin to manage your life in a highly intelligent manner.
