कर्मणैव हि संसिद्धिमास्थिता जनकादयः |
लोकसंग्रहमेवापि संपश्यन्कर्तुमर्हसि || ३ २० ||
karmaNaiva hi samsiddhim–
aasthithaa janakaa-dayaha
loka-sangraha-mevaapi
sampashyan-kartu-marhasi (SBG 3:20)
Even Janaka and other kings attained perfection through action. Your actions should be for the benefit of the world.

यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जनः |
स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते || ३ २१ ||
yadhyadaa-charathi shresht-has-
thattha-devetaro janaha
sa yat-pramaaNam kurute
lokastha-dhanu-varthathe (SBG 3:21)
Whatever or whichever action an important person does, others follow him and emulate him. What he does becomes a standard for the others.
