Complete freedom cannot be attained until one is freed from the clutches of duality. Unfortunately, the internet is infested with numerous pseudo-spiritual individuals who preach nonsensical teachings and succeed due to the ignorance of the masses. It’s astonishing to see so-called ‘spiritual gurus’ spout complete gibberish on stage, some of whom proudly claim to have never even read any spiritual texts, and educated people flocking in hoards at the feet of such people.
What else but ignorance could be the cause of such asinine mass behaviour?
As a person, who has been on the edge of life a number of times, and as one who never tended to believe anything without proper evidence or a rational explanation, I decided a couple of decades ago to delve deep into the priceless Vedic scriptures. After in-depth studies and enormous experience counselling thousands of people, I have taken it up as my life’s mission to encourage and enable as many people as possible to actually read the Srimad Bhagavad Gita for themselves at least once in their lifetime. My aim is to simplify Vedanta philosophy so that people can comprehend it and achieve freedom. My upcoming videos will further shed light on the harm caused by dualistic and theistic beliefs and the way they have affected harmony in society.
The seemingly harmless and serene term “belief” should not be overlooked, as it has been the root cause of enormous wars and even genocide throughout history and continues to be in the present. It’s the firm conviction that one group holds towards an ideology or individual that has resulted in atrocities against those with contrasting beliefs. Individuals who hold strong beliefs are bound to clash with those who do not share the same convictions, ultimately leading to conflicts.
Whereas, Vedanta is neither a dogma nor any belief system, and there is no concept of a personal being residing in the heavens watching over everyone. It’s unfortunate that the masses are so engrossed in their dualistic thinking that they are unaware of the vast knowledge of Vedic and Vedanta scriptures easily available on the internet. It’s disheartening to see innocent children being indoctrinated with beliefs in tales and fables that are, in fact, meant to be seen allegoricalically, hindering their natural ability to learn and evolve.
Begin your journey by reading and comprehending the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, which offers a methodical approach to shedding the layers of ignorance accumulated over extended periods when duality was preached, practised, and even imposed by some.
